OPPORTUNITIES
The Center for SMART Health provides a number of opportunities to UCLA students and faculty, and ways for other broader partnerships with industry and other groups.
UCLA PROPOSALS
The Center invites UCLA faculty to propose pilot projects that bring together different aspects of healthcare and technology, particularly to demonstrate impact on patient health and healthcare delivery.
BIOENGINEERING CAPSTONES
UCLA Bioengineering (BE) undergrads are annually able to work with us on capstone projects. Each year, students have a chance to design, develop, and evaluate new technologies in biomedical AI and mHealth.
HEARST HEALTH PRIZE
The Center is the official partner of the Hearst Health Prize, a $100,000 award given in recognition of outstanding achievement in managing or improving health in the US through the application of data science.
